Jenroluwa Sotunsa, known as Jayshow, is a UK-based Nigerian music producer, songwriter and recording artist, also credited as Jenbeatz. His sound sits where Afrofusion, alternative R&B, pop and EDM meet cinematic, atmospheric production: records built like scenes, with tension, space and release.
He writes, produces and mixes his own music and releases it independently through his imprint, CC Records. His catalogue includes the joint EP Space with King VI (2022), the album Dawn (2023), the EP Unleash (2025), and the singles “Jo”, “Wanted Man” featuring Feisty Savage and Weird Uzoma, and “The Inside” featuring Weird Uzoma.
As a producer and engineer, Jayshow works with other artists too. He produced “Naya” for UK-based artist Banké Naya and mixed “3am In Magodo” for Bony CDM. His long-running partnership with vocalist and songwriter King VI runs through “Mystery Woman” and “Jo”.
His music has been played on BBC Introducing, where “Jo” featured on BBC Radio Kent. It has also been covered by Notion and 1883 Magazine in the UK and Pinch of Sol in the US. Notion wrote that “Wanted Man” “never feels overpacked. Instead, every element serves the tension.”
Jayshow also writes music for screen. His score for the Nigerian short film Ihunanya’m won Best Soundtrack in a Movie at the 2025 Galaxy Music Awards. His other screen work includes the YouTube series Spa with Osas, and his composition “Militarian” was used on Entertainment Tonight in the US through a Viacom music library.
Rooted in Nigerian rhythm and storytelling and shaped by life in the UK, Jayshow makes music that moves easily between the club, the late-night drive and the screen.
